NASA's Robot Ape

NASA has been making a robot ape. They have been building it because there was a contest. The robot doesn't have a head but does has seven cameras that look like eyes and have double duty legs and arms. They have been trying to build a robot for the twenty seven month-long robot building competition. They would have challenges to see if the robot is good to children, can drive a car, and walk up stairs. The winner would win two million dollars. I think the robot that NASA is making is pretty cool,  that it can help with children and drive cars.

This is a interesting story about Apple's new watch. It should be released in early 2015. Apple CEO, Tim Cook, says the new apple watch will "Tap you out of your laziness". He says this because if you are ever sitting too long, or if you are inactive, the Apple Watch will tap you on the wrist. It will cost $349. The Apple Watch is the first major new product Apple has made since the Magic iPad in 2010. Also, the Watch will have Siri, Apple's digital voice assistant. It will also be able to use Apple Pay, a mobile payment service.  Tim Cook believes the new Apple Watch will change the way people live their lives.

Samsung Galaxy S6 display to reach into 3 sides!

Samsung may offer a Galaxy S6 with a display that you can view from all three sides. The front, left, and the right. Samsung has been hit by greater competition in the Smart phone arena, on both the high end and the low end. To help prevent this competition from being on the lower end of the situation, Samsung Company sent out invitations to a March 1st event at Mobile World Congress. The invitation showed a hint image of a partial curved device that read, "what's next!". This making an assumption that a new Samsung device is coming soon.
Im not really one for Samsung phones but i'm interested in what they will come up with.

Should Copying an App be Illegal

Have you ever scrolled through the App Store? If you have you may have noticed there are knock offs, or copies of games. For example Flappy Bird. How may rip offs have you seen of that game? A few seconds of scrolling and you'll see at least 5 copies.

Part of the problem is that anyone can publish a game. Maybe it's that it is simply easier to copy a game than to create your own original game. But is it fair for you to make up to millions of dollars copying someone else's original idea? Is it fair to make money doing such little work? You might say that is is no big deal, and that you make little money copying. This is wrong. Think of an app from the apple store. You probably thought of 2048. This game is actually a copy off of Threes created in february 2014.

I think it is wrong to copy an app. I do have the game 2048 on my iPod. I didn't know it was a copy. I also play Flappy bird. I knew this was having copywrite problems.

The Riddance of Unwanted Photos

In this story a clothes designer brand called BetaBrand designed a suit, scarf, and hoodie designed to obscure your face when their is camera flash. It can do this because it is fashioned with tiny reflective spheres that when a flash is created it lightens up. The cost of the clothes range from $50 to $400. The creator of the clothing knew that anti-tech clothing was coming into fashion and that is why he made the line of clothing. He thought that anything making people think twice about taking an unwanted picture of someone is good.

Robot Staffed Hotel!

Robot Staffed Hotel

The Henn-na Hotel is coming to Japan soon! Henn-na Hotel means strange hotel. Well why is this hotel strange? It is going to be staffed by robots! Huis Ten Bosch who made a theme park, has made plans to open in July. In 2016 the second part of the hotel will open. The hotel is being made in Japan. Inside the hotel the robots will be able to talk to customers and even clean! The President of the company, Hideo Sawada, has  made some big goals. He states he wants to build a thousand more of those hotels worldwide.  The rooms are very fancy. Anything that the hotel guests need can be ordered on a tablet.   We use air conditioners here at home but instead the hotel will use radiation panels.  The radiation panels will adjust your room temperature by finding your body heat. The hotel rooms cost 60 dollars for a single room and 153 dollars for a triple room.  There are also superior deluxe rooms but during peak times you must bid for theses type of rooms.  You can also reserve rooms too on their website.

Apple is now worth more than Google and Microsoft combined

Apple is now worth more than Google and Microsoft combined! Google's market cap is $365.46 billion, and Microsoft's market cap is $349.89 billion, you get $715.35 from that, or $1 billion less than Apple's market cap.

I have always been a fan of Apple rather than Samsung or Android. The reason I think Apple is doing so good is because they make their projects easy to use. People are still in debate whether Apple can still keep it's crazy values going or not. I think Apple will be very successful for very long.
